Gma W Turns 70

Happy Birthday to Gma W. After a tough week (surgery), she rallied back for a regular Sunday dinner with all four grandparents at her house. Chris still cooked most of the meal, and we took it over there. Happy Birthday, Gma W! Lisa Kay

Grandparents' Day

Mitchell's pre-school had a special program for grandparents. Gpa and Gma E came up for the event. (Unfortunately, Gma and Gpa W were at home because Gma had surgery.) They sang some songs and ate some cookies. Keep it simple! They took grandparent pictures in the classrooms beforehand Second on stage, he seemed a bit shy one moment... ...and confident the next. We got to see him for a moment, and then everyone lined up in front! Why is he always surrounded by girls? The worst is over... ...on to the cookies! Happy Knitting, Lisa Kay

Inspiration

"If you want to build a ship, don't drum up the men to gather wood, divide the work and give orders. Instead, teach them to yearn for the vast and endless sea." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery (1900 - 1944), "The Wisdom of the Sands"

Bath Goggles

Mitchell still takes swimming lessons every Saturday. They recently started wearing goggles, and he got a pair of his own. He likes them so much that he wears them in the bath, too. Happy Knitting, Lisa Kay

Singing in the Rain

When I picked Mitchell up, today, he gave an impromptu performance. Luckily, I had my pocket camera in the glove box. Ah, the simple joys of the young... Happy Knitting, Lisa Kay
